10.00 - Saturday 23 June 2018 - The CLC between Hunts Cross and Liverpool Central - This event has been postponed until later in the year.

18.00 - Tuesday 10 July 2018 - Dingle LOR Station and Tunnel -
An opportunity for members to visit the Southern Terminus of the Liverpool Overhead Railway and walk the length of the Dingle Tunnel. Hard hats and sturdy footwear are required along with a torch! Places are limited to 20 and need to be booked via Paul Wright. Meet on Park Road (the A561) at the junction on Kedleston Street, Liverpool (opposite the Toxteth Chapel). 09.00 & 09.20 - Saturday 4 August 2018 - 8D Association visit to the Churnet Valley Railway -
A trip by heritage bus with pick up points at Warrington Bank Quay station (09.00) and Widnes Victoria Square (09.20). The bus will be part funded by the association but there will be a £5 charge per person, payable upon booking. Bookings are via 8D member Neil Wilson, please contact myself through the sites e-mail or one of the committee members for Neil's contact details. Places are still available.

19.00 - Tuesday 14 August 2018 - The CLC Winsford & Over Branch - A guided walk led by Paul Wright along part of the course of the CLC branch. Meet at Whitgate Station, Clay Lane Whitegate. Easy effort/Medium distance. Click for location.

11.00 - Sunday 2 September 2018 - Visit to Warrington & District Model Engineering Society
- Another opportunity to enjoy the fantastic miniature railway of the Warrington Model Engineers at Daresbury. The Society will have a number of locomotives in steam and members will get the opportunity to ride behind them. Access is via a farm gate on the Chester Road in Daresbury Village. The gate is located on the east side of the road to the south of Daresbury Primary School. Click for location.
